Assessment

Nicki Bullick tutoring a 4 year old boy

We do NOT provide medical or psychological diagnoses for learning disorders.

We DO provide FUNCTIONAL diagnostic assessments that identify the specific areas of strengths and weakness to determine the goals of intervention. These tests provide valuable information that is "prescriptive" in nature so the appropriate interventions are used. Assessments also provide baseline data and allows for progress monitoring over time. Assessments are required for any student who wishes to become a tutoring client.

NEW!!! We now offer a normed screener for dyslexia! We use the Tests of Dyslexia-Screener, known as the TOD-S. This 15 minute screener provides valuable information and whether someone is At-Risk of having dyslexia. This test is available for ages 5.5 through adult and you receive an automated report at your screening session!

We also offer homeschool families yearly portfolio evaluations in compliance with state requirements.
